Travel directions

GVG Genetic Monitoring GmbH is based at BIO CITY Leipzig, one of the most advanced biotech and biomedicine centres in Germany.

If you’re planning a visit, there are many ways to reach us:
If you choose to fly, on landing at Leipzig/Halle Airport take a taxi straight to us or alternatively take the FlughafenExpress train to Leipzig Central Station (marked ‘Hauptbahnhof’). If travelling by rail, this is also the station to head for. From the station, take the no. 16 tram to Deutscher Platz – make sure it’s heading for Lößnig. Alight at the tram stop marked ‘Deutsche Nationalbibliothek’ , keep walking in the direction of travel over the traffic lights, and then turn right at the oval circus. Walk past the Max Planck Institute and continue to the large red-brick building. Welcome!

If you’re driving, you need to head for south-east Leipzig. If you’re arriving from the north on the A9 and A14, take the exit marked ‘Leipzig Mitte’ and drive along the B2 to ‘Alte Messe’. If coming from the south on the A9 and A38, take the exit marked ‘Leipzig Zentrum’ and then change to the B2/B95. Take the exit marked ‘Wittenberg’ and follow the signs to ‘Alte Messe’. If travelling from the West, once again turn off the A38 onto the B2/B95 and continue as described.
